Welcome to South Park

More than its mall; where luxury shopping and high-end eateries come together

Derived from the famously known mall of its same name, South Park is located in the south-central sector of Charlotte, North Carolina. So much more than the SouthPark mall, the area is booming with upscale retail both in and outside the shopping center, home to some of the most luxurious apartments and multi-story homes, and awarded the largest business district in the Carolinas.

The area is also vastly known for its great weather and beautiful architecture. In the heart of winter, average temperature highs are in the 50s, with lows only ever averaging in the 30s. By the middle of summer, residents live in luxury as temperatures get as high as 90 and as low as 70.

Enamored by the warm weather and exquisite scenery, many notable architects have made a name for themselves in South Park, from Don Duffy, Kent Lineberger, and Bryan Mermans to Ruard Veltman, Ken Pursley, and Craig Dixon. The most famous architecture in the neighborhood is Modern Mid-Century, celebrated by the local Charlotte Museum of History with annual tours that attract people from across the nation. Featured South Park area properties include the Langdon Home built in 1955, Allen Home from 1963, and Baker Home from 1962.
